morning. This breaks the old record of 29 degrees set in 1990.

A record low temperature of 33 degrees was set at Apalachicola this
morning. This breaks the old record of 34 degrees set in 1951.

Discussion... 
the 12 UTC regional surface analysis showed an area of high 
pressure centered over the northeast Gulf...with an Arctic cold 
front from western NC to the Texas-OK border. This front will move 
through our area tonight...bringing much colder temperatures to 
the region Friday and Saturday. In the mean time...the early 
morning forecast package is in good shape as we will have fair 
weather and mild temperatures this afternoon.

unlimited ceilings/visible will continue into tonight...except if there 
are any large fires near one of the airports. We do not see any 
such fires so far this morning.
