Synopsis
A weak ridge of high pressure will linger over the northern Gulf of Mexico through tomorrow. Mariners with plans to venture into the open Gulf over the weekend and through the first part of next week should closely monitor later forecasts concerning Tropical Storm Fay. Though the current forecast track keeps Fay over land...outer rain bands may affect the coastal waters causing gusty winds and higher seas.
