Synopsis
A stationary frontal boundary...located just off of the southeast Louisiana and Mississippi coasts...will become diffuse this afternoon. Weak high pressure will prevail across the coastal waters Monday and Tuesday...with generally light winds and flat seas forecast. Hurricane Ike is forecast to enter the southeast Gulf of Mexico late Tuesday or early Wednesday and move west northwest into the central Gulf Thursday.
