Synopsis
Tropical Storm Fay is currently located off the Florida East Coast 20 miles east southeast of Daytona Beach. Fay is nearly stationary but will drift west northwest and weaken through the weekend. Fay will move over North Florida through Friday and then over the western Florida Panhandle and southern Alabama as a tropical depression Saturday and Sunday. Fay will bring increasing northwest winds over the coastal waters Friday and Saturday. Winds will become southwesterly as Fay moves west over southern Alabama on Sunday. Small craft advisories will likely be required over the weekend.
