Synopsis
High pressure across the northeast Gulf and northern Florida will begin to lift northward tonight. Powerful Hurricane Ike is forecast to move south of Florida late Monday and Tuesday. As result...a northeast to east wind will increase with rough seas developing. Areas of showers and thunderstorms can also be expected Tuesday as Hurricane Ike passes south and west of the area. Mariners should closely monitor the latest forecasts regarding Hurricane Ike.
