2. Synoptic situation for 070000z Oct 08, to include regional





near-gale wind events and weather hazards.





A. West med: high pressure ridges over the western Med from the





eastern Atlantic. No high winds or seas 12ft (3.7m) or greater are





expected in the west Med.





B. Cent med: high pressure dominates the the region producing fair





weather. No high winds or seas 12ft (3.7m) or greater are expected in





the cent Med.





C. East med: high pressure ridges over the eastern Med from the





central Med. No high winds or seas 12 ft (3.7m) or greater are





expected in the east Med.





D. Black sea: low pressure system over the northern black sea will





produce isolated rainshowers for Danube and Georgia. No high winds or





seas 12 ft (3.7m) or greater are expected in the black sea.





E. Baltic sea: high pressure ridges in from the south as a low





pressure system moves eastward. No high winds or seas 12 ft (3.7m) or





greater are expected in the Baltic Sea.

5. High seas warning is for over water areas and may overlap some





land masses or areas of lesser winds/seas. High seas warnings
