... EF1 tornado damage in Polk County near ink...

On Monday afternoon... October 6th... at approximately 2:45 PM
CDT... an EF1 tornado caused damage near the town of ink... in Polk
County.

The EF1 tornado began 1.2 miles west southwest of ink... and ended
2.9 miles north of ink. It was on the ground for 3.4 miles.

Damage occurred to numerous large trees. Power lines were downed.
Old Chicken houses that were being used as Hay barns were damaged.
An old barn and out buildings were destroyed. A tin roof was pulled
off a garage. Some tin roof damage to a few barns. Shingles were
taken off a house. A few houses had damage when trees fell on them.
An old garage was blown off its foundation.
