An intensifying low pressure centre currently over the Funk Island

Bank will track northeastward to lie well east of the Belle Island

bank overnight. Strong to gale force easterly winds ahead of the low

shift to gale to storm force westerly as it passes.

Marine interests are advised that storm warnings are in effect for

Funk Island Bank southern half and the northern Grand Banks.

Gale warnings are in effect for South Coast cape St. Marys and east,

East Coast, and the southeastern Grand Banks.
