| Synopsis Pressure gradient continues to weaken but expecting north winds to remain at current levels overnight as high pressure settles over west central Texas. Winds and seas becoming light with and lower respectively later Wednesday into Thursday. High pressure shifts east and low pressure deepens over the North Texas Friday tightening the onshore pressure gradient. Winds could approach Small Craft Advisory conditions Friday night then diminish slightly Saturday in advance of a cold front. The front is expected to move through the coastal waters Saturday night with strong north winds and building seas. Advisories are likely Saturday night into Sunday. |
