Synopsis
Windy and rough conditions will gradually develop over coastal waters and persist through next week. Easterly winds will increase over the marine area as Ida moves northward into the Gulf of Mexico and a strong high pressure system persists along the eastern Seaboard. Increased swell and winds approaching near gale force are possible over the open waters by Monday. Please monitor the latest advisories issued by the National Hurricane Center before making boating plans...as this marine forecast is sensitive to changes in the track and intensity forecast for Ida.
