east of ridge.

Generally southwesterly winds 20/30 knots increasing to 30/40 knots in gale

areas and decreasing to 15 knots far northwest of area in Tasman Sea and

southern ocean. Direction more west/northwesterly within 360nm east of front and

more variable around 15 knots far northwestern area of Tasman Sea and northern

bight waters. Rough seas, very rough in gale areas and abating to moderate far

northwest of area in Tasman Sea and southern ocean. Visibility reduced to 3nm in

showers, more widespread near front.

Remaining waters.

West/northwesterly winds mostly 15/25 knots, increasing to 25/35 knots in gale

area after 080300utc. Moderate/rough seas. Moderate swell, heavy in south.
